Accountant with US Experience (Remote, Contract)

Role Overview

Seeking a qualified Accountant experienced in U.S. accounting standards for a remote contract role. The position involves working 10 to 40 hours weekly with hourly compensation between $90 and $100.

Key Duties

• Leverage expertise in U.S. accounting to review, annotate, and validate financial datasets for AI training applications.
• Implement Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure the correctness and pertinence of financial data.
• Provide specialized accounting knowledge and detailed feedback by collaborating closely with an AI development team.
• Utilize ERP platforms, including SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks, to offer insights into accounting workflows and best practices.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities by auditing training datasets and detecting errors or omissions.
• Compose clear and concise documentation of complex accounting topics suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Experience in financial data annotation, auditing, and documenting processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical accounting concepts to varied audiences.
