Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will act as the primary liaison for customer accounts, fostering robust client relationships, closing contracts profitably, and ensuring the effective delivery of solutions aligned with customers' goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for all matters regarding customer account management.
- Establish and sustain strong, enduring client partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize profitability.
- Build trusted advisory connections with key accounts, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Guarantee timely and successful implementation of solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Communicate progress of ongoing monthly and quarterly projects clearly to internal and external parties.
- Expand business opportunities within existing clients and identify areas for improvement to achieve sales targets.
- Forecast and monitor vital account metrics, including quarterly sales outcomes and annual projections.
- Compile reports on account status to keep teams informed.
- Work alongside the sales team to detect and develop growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Handle complex client requests and escalate issues when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and processes to maintain consistent daily operations.
- Participate in identifying opportunities to enhance processes, cost-efficiency, and productivity.
- Encourage fellow employees to follow organizational policies and procedures diligently.
- Maintain continuity of work by following daily operational routines related to the role.
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely reports that align with job requirements and objectives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing both internal and external client needs courteously and promptly.
Qualifications
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- A master's degree in a related field is considered advantageous.
- Between 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in account or client management.
