Role summary
This position is focused on driving sales and service outcomes across an assigned territory for data services, voice, broadband, and fixed line offerings. The role acts as the primary business contact for customers, managing the relationship on behalf of Airtel across all three lines of business.
The job is centered on growing customer market share and revenue market share in both existing and new accounts while building a strong pipeline for future business.
Key deliverables
- Achieve the assigned targets for data, voice, and fixed line installations.
- Identify and win new accounts for data, voice, and fixed line services.
- Increase business in current and new customers through cross-selling multiple products.
- Maintain a healthy sales funnel across all three business lines with appropriate stages of progression.
- Track competitor plans and gather market intelligence to support business decisions.
- Review competitor offers and plan sales actions for different customer segments.
Role responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong customer relationships over the long term.
- Negotiate agreements and close deals in a way that supports revenue growth.
- Create new opportunities through upselling and cross-selling with existing clients.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time and in line with customer requirements.
Profile and eligibility
- The minimum educational requirement is graduation.
- Relevant work experience should be between 1 and 5 years.
- The preferred age limit is up to 30 years.
- Candidates from ISP, system integrator environments such as HP or Dell, field sales roles in telecom, wireline, IT/ITeS, BFSI, or other relationship-led selling backgrounds are preferred.
