- Draft, check, and manage certification files, technical details, engineering drawings, and regulatory paperwork aligned with AIS-007, CMVR, and related standards.
- Work with design, vehicle integration, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to keep vehicles ready for homologation.
- Support performance and validation testing covering range, energy use, gradeability, top speed, acceleration, braking, ABS, steering effort, turning circle, ride quality, handling, durability, and interior/exterior noise.
- Assist in checking compliance against CMVR, AIS, and BIS requirements.
- Track test activities, observations, deviations, and corrective actions, and help document them clearly.
- Maintain homologation files, test reports, compliance matrices, and other engineering records.
- Support certification tasks such as physical verification under CMVR, measurements and weighment, VIN checks, brake and ABS evaluations, steering and turning-circle checks, speedometer calibration, pass-by and cabin noise tests, gradeability checks, lighting and signalling verification, rear-view mirror inspection, and seat anchorage compliance.
- Assist with electric vehicle certification activities including EMC testing under AIS-004, EV functional and safety checks under AIS-038 Rev.2, energy consumption testing under AIS-039, range testing under AIS-040, maximum and 30-minute power testing under AIS-041, traction battery compliance, vehicle tracking system compliance under AIS-140, stability and passive safety compliance, and type-approval documentation.
