Internship Overview
This internship is designed for a detail-oriented and creative individual who will assist the Digital Marketing team in enhancing Traya’s presence on YouTube and Instagram. The role involves hands-on management of social media channels with an emphasis on timely content publication, optimizing discoverability, and leveraging data insights for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting and scheduling videos, reels, and shorts on YouTube and Instagram platforms.
- Crafting and refining metadata such as titles, descriptions, tags, and hashtags to boost reach and visibility.
- Ensuring all content complies with platform-specific guidelines and brand standards.
- Managing technical aspects on YouTube including aspect ratios, end screens, chapters, and cards.
- Handling Instagram-specific features like cover frames, alt text, and accessibility captions.
- Overseeing daily operations of both social accounts, including audience engagement.
- Monitoring community interactions by responding to comments and messages.
- Coordinating content calendars to maintain consistent posting schedules.
- Tracking metrics via YouTube Studio and Instagram Insights and preparing weekly/monthly performance reports covering views, engagement, reach, followers, and watch time.
- Identifying emerging trends to provide actionable recommendations.
- Supporting administrative and operational tasks related to channel management.
- Contributing to brainstorming sessions and researching ideas for new content.
- Keeping abreast of algorithm updates, new social media features, and industry trends.
Candidate Eligibility
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship based in Mumbai.
- Internship start dates between July 16, 2026 and August 20, 2026.
- Commitment to the full 3-month internship tenure.
- Possession of relevant skills and keen interest in social media marketing.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from marketing, mass communication, media studies, or a related discipline.
- Experience with YouTube and Instagram from either a creator or business viewpoint.
- Basic knowledge of SEO techniques for video and social media content.
- Comfortable interpreting data through analytics dashboards.
- High attention to detail in writing titles, captions, and metadata.
- Strong organizational ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive and self-driven attitude suitable for a dynamic work environment.
- Previous experience managing social media accounts (personal, freelance, or organizational).
- Familiarity with content scheduling software such as Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite.
- Basic video editing proficiency using tools like CapCut or Adobe Premiere Rush.
- Skills in designing thumbnails with applications like Canva or Adobe Express.
