Internship Overview
This internship at Emoolar Technology Private Limited offers an opportunity to develop practical skills in Security Operations Center (SOC) functions while working remotely. As part of the cybersecurity team, interns will engage in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents using industry-standard security tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously track and evaluate security alerts generated by SIEM and other monitoring platforms.
- Conduct thorough log examinations to detect suspicious behaviors and potential cyber threats.
- Assist in investigating security alerts and support incident detection and response processes.
- Analyze network traffic, authentication logs, endpoint data, and system events to identify security risks.
- Help pinpoint Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and discern potential attack methodologies.
- Perform foundational threat intelligence research to enrich incident context.
- Document incidents and maintain comprehensive security-related reports and documentation.
- Support tasks involving vulnerability assessments and overall security evaluations.
- Learn and implement SOC operational procedures, including escalation protocols and cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaborate with mentors on hands-on cybersecurity projects and scenario simulations reflective of real-world environments.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be able to work from home, be available for the full six-month internship starting between August 12, 2026, and September 16, 2026, and possess relevant skills and interests in cybersecurity. Women aiming to start or resume their careers are especially encouraged to apply. Preference is given to Computer Science Engineering students.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹6,500 to ₹8,000, comprising a fixed pay of ₹6,000-7,000 plus incentives of ₹500-1,000.
- Flexible working hours with a five-day workweek.
