Material Depot, a Y-Combinator-backed startup revolutionizing how architects and designers source interior materials, is seeking an HR Operations intern for a full-time onsite opportunity in Bangalore. The company specializes in an online discovery platform and retail experience for materials such as tiles, laminates, wallpapers, wooden flooring, and wall panels. With backing from prominent investors and over $4 million in annual revenue, it is among the fastest-growing ventures in this sector.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in employee onboarding, maintain documentation and support HR processes.
- Ensure accurate upkeep of employee data within the HRMS system.
- Support payroll processes by collecting and verifying necessary employee details.
- Coordinate background and document verification procedures.
- Draft HR documents including offer, appointment, and experience letters.
- Update and maintain trackers for attendance, leaves, onboarding, offboarding, and other HR documentation.
- Assist in employee exit processes including final settlements and paperwork.
- Facilitate document collection and compliance matters by liaising with employees.
- Support the maintenance and updates of HR policies, standard operating procedures, audits, and compliance activities.
- Provide day-to-day general administrative assistance to the HR team.
