About the Company and Role
Onsite Rental Group is a nationwide equipment hire specialist with over 30 years of experience serving industries including mining, oil and gas, construction, industrial, infrastructure, government, and defence. Employing more than 500 people across 35+ branches, Onsite is driven by customer-focused values committed to growth. This permanent full-time position is based in Wangara, Western Australia, reporting directly to the Branch Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of portable buildings and portable toilet blocks using supplied equipment and materials.
- Conduct basic repairs and upkeep on portable buildings, such as sealing floors, replacing trim, painting, patching walls, performing minor plumbing tasks, and changing doors and locks.
- Properly pack furniture and accessories like tables, chairs, desks, refrigerators, and microwaves inside portable buildings in preparation for transport.
- Carry out general yard duties and housekeeping to ensure a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment.
- Support qualified tradespeople with refurbishing and upgrading portable buildings as needed.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Possess a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Experience with handyman tasks and using power tools is preferred.
- Background in cleaning or labor roles is advantageous.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Exhibit a positive attitude with strong commitment to workplace safety.
