Wholesale Order Picker

About the Role

Join Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods as a Wholesale Order Picker, where your efforts ensure customers receive fresh, high-quality products accurately and on time. You'll be integral to preparing and organizing orders destined for Halifax and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Select, pack, and prepare customer orders quickly and precisely.
• Check product quality and freshness to meet company standards.
• Interact with customers via phone for order confirmations, inquiries, and customer service support.
• Keep order fulfillment processes well-organized, accurate, and efficient.
• Help with inventory management and rotate stock as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Contribute to keeping the workplace clean, safe, and orderly.
• Assist with other store tasks and duties as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Have a genuine interest in fresh, quality food products.
• Maintain high precision and accuracy in all tasks.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

• Previous experience with produce is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Physical Demands

• Capacity to frequently lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
• Endure standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements for the entire shift.
