About the Role

Join our team as a Warehouse Operator based in Naas, County Kildare, where you will play a vital role in managing the receipt, handling, and dispatch of cargo including import, export, and domestic shipments. This position involves ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and handle various cargo types, ensuring proper processing for import, export, and domestic freight.
• Inspect cargo upon arrival to identify and document any damages or discrepancies.
• Accurately complete and verify all necessary documentation and paperwork.
• Conduct visual inspections and pre-operational checks on equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Ensure trailers are safe and fit for loading operations.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including compliance with IMDG and ADR guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver service excellence.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, with import/export cargo handling considered advantageous.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and overcoming challenges.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed work ethic.

Working Hours and Salary

The role’s working schedule is Monday to Thursday from 15:00 to 23:30, and on Friday from 18:00 to 01:30. The annual salary for this position is €30,115.
