Role Overview
As a Warehouse Cleaner at Lidl, based in Exeter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. Working full-time in an onsite capacity, your responsibilities will include ensuring all warehouse areas, loading bays, car parks, and common spaces remain spotless throughout the day.
Key Duties
- Cleaning floors, fixtures, fittings, and promptly handling spillages
- Removing waste packaging from warehouse floors to reduce trip hazards
- Stocking 'clean as you go' stations with necessary supplies such as tissue rolls and hazard signs
- Keeping fire exits free from obstructions and litter
- Emptying recycling stations and relocating them to designated recycling areas
- Operating cleaning machinery confidently
- Maintaining hygiene and adhering strictly to Health and Safety standards
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a conscientious approach
- Experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory
- Commitment to comply with the Corporate Code of Conduct and internal guidelines
- Flexibility to undertake individual tasks apart from picking when needed
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage between £13.45 and £13.65
- 40-hour weekly schedule from 05:00 to 14:30, five days out of seven
