Role Overview
This role is focused on getting the dining area ready before service, keeping it tidy and welcoming, and supporting the team throughout service while serving guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the morning cleaning routine in the restaurant.
- Wash and prepare all service utensils before every service period.
- Assist the captain waiter with setting up the restaurant.
- Maintain a neat personal presentation and high standards of hygiene.
- Help prepare mise en place under the captain waiter’s direction.
- Carry food from the kitchen to the dining area.
- Assist in placing food plates on guests’ tables.
- Replace ashtrays and refill water glasses during service.
- Clear tables after guests finish their meals and clean them properly.
- Take used plates and glasses to the dishwashing section.
- Follow the captain waiter’s instructions and work under close guidance.
