Waiting List Officer

About the Role

This position is part of NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Health Records Management Team and focuses on managing patient waiting lists to ensure compliance with national and local targets set by the Scottish Government. The role involves coordinating the timely and secure booking of patients, including the organization of Pre-Admission clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a waiting list booking team to provide efficient scheduling from referral to treatment.
• Manage referrals, appointments, and diagnostic bookings effectively.
• Validate and maintain waiting lists to keep all patient information accurate and up-to-date.
