About The Role
As a vital member of The Belgian Waffle Co.'s café staff, you will help deliver an outstanding guest experience by preparing and serving premium waffles, drinks, and desserts. Maintaining excellence in food safety, hygiene, and service standards will be key while ensuring smooth café operations. You will foster a welcoming atmosphere and uphold the brand's professional image with enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly with a cheerful and positive demeanor.
- Accurately take orders and offer helpful menu suggestions.
- Prepare waffles, beverages, and other menu selections following established SOPs.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and uniformity in each order.
- Efficiently manage billing and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Keep the kitchen, service areas, dining space, and equipment clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management and replenishment.
- Support opening and closing tasks for the store.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure seamless operations during busy periods.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and effectively resolve any concerns to improve satisfaction.
