Overview
The Virtual Patient Coordinator operates within a virtual therapy setting providing essential assistance to licensed PT/OT or PTA/COTA professionals. This position prioritizes administrative support to optimize workflow, allowing clinical staff to concentrate on patient treatment and improve efficiency. The coordinator plays a key role in managing virtual services to address demand fluctuations, ensuring both patients and providers experience streamlined interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support initial clinical visits through administrative tasks to ensure compliance.
- Deliver flexible coverage across the virtual service areas.
- Assist in converting initial service evaluations effectively within coverage zones.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clinical and administrative teams regarding patient needs.
- Use electronic medical record systems such as EMR, Insync, Genie, and Touchstone to fulfill business requirements.
- Manage point-of-service collections including copays.
- Provide comprehensive communication to patients and clinical teams as necessary.
- Serve as the liaison for patients during their Telehealth experience.
- Escalate technical problems to the relevant support units when required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant field; or alternatively, a high school diploma with at least two years of healthcare support experience.
- Minimum one year experience in healthcare support services is required; three years with prior administrative and customer service experience is preferable.
Skills & Abilities
- Integrity and adherence to care responsibilities aligned with state practice acts and payer regulations.
- Excellent communication, adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities to ensure strong customer experiences and effective collaboration.
- Proficient with basic technology including email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Excel.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic computer and software issues.
- Basic sales skills.
- Bilingual abilities are an advantage.

- This is a virtual employee position based onsite in Bellevue, Washington.
- Salary is ranged between 18.50 and 22.00 dollars per hour.
