Perspective Media Llp is a B2B podcast production studio based in Mumbai specializing in comprehensive show production for founders and brands. The quality of editing significantly contributes to the company's reputation.
Role Overview
The Video Editor will handle editing of long-format podcast episodes typically ranging from 45 to 90 minutes involving multi-camera footage and create engaging reels extracted from these episodes. Responsibilities include crafting engaging motion graphics such as animated captions and titles designed to capture audience attention, managing pacing, cuts, color correction, sound levels, and ensuring timely delivery across various client projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in After Effects with strong skills in motion graphics creation such as animated captions, transitions, and hooks.
- Excellent storytelling ability demonstrated through portfolio, including structure and pacing that maintains viewer attention and effectively delivers the message.
- Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro editing software, as the editing workflow relies on Premiere Pro rather than DaVinci Resolve.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills are mandatory.
- Experience in podcast editing is advantageous but not essential since training can be provided.
Additional Information
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion graphics and storytelling capabilities is required and applications lacking this will not be considered.
- Salary ranges from Rs 30,000 to 50,000 monthly depending on experience.
- This is a full-time position based onsite at the Masjid Bunder area in South Mumbai.
- Immediate joining is preferred.
