Role Overview
Under the leadership of the Senior Vice President of Group Commercial & ICV & Industrial Development, the Vice President of Market Intelligence will spearhead ADNOC's Market Intelligence division. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights, analytics, and category intelligence that support strategic procurement and business decisions across key areas like Projects, Drilling, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Market Intelligence strategy and capability roadmap targeting critical, high-value business categories.
- Manage supply market research, oversee data and knowledge management, and design analytics solutions alongside management reporting frameworks to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders from Procurement, Commercial, Finance, Legal, IT, Group Companies as well as external partners to craft category strategies and uncover new opportunities.
- Lead market risk evaluation, foster cost optimization, provide pricing and supplier market insights, and nurture team development while encouraging ongoing innovation and process improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in areas including procurement, market intelligence, supply chain, analytics, technology enablement, or business applications, with a preference for candidates from the Oil & Gas sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading market intelligence, category management, procurement analytics, cost modeling, and strategic sourcing for complex, business-critical categories.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, financial, strategic thinking, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven leadership in managing teams, balancing multiple priorities, building capability, enhancing performance, and delivering results in dynamic environments.
