Role Overview
This position is for an experienced software professional with strong hands-on development skills in the Microsoft stack. The role focuses on building and supporting application and integration solutions using .NET technologies, APIs, databases, and related deployment practices.
Technical Requirements
- Bring 5 to 7 years of practical software development experience.
- Work confidently with .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Develop in C# and create RESTful APIs.
- Use SQL Server effectively for application and data work.
- Handle SSIS-based integration tasks.
- Apply Entity Framework and ADO.NET where needed.
- Understand API authentication and security practices.
- Troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and tune solutions.
- Use Git or similar version control tools.
- Deploy and configure applications on IIS.
Database & Data Skills
- Work with relational database concepts in a solid and practical way.
- Improve queries through optimisation and indexing approaches.
- Be familiar with data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows.
