Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned UX Researcher to help shape the direction of the product experience. This role is best suited to someone with strong exposure to Wealth Management or Capital Markets, and it is offered as a W2 position based in Weehawken Township, NJ with a hybrid work arrangement.
What You Will Do
- Plan and carry out user research using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and field observations to understand user behavior and preferences.
- Assess current products and services from a user-experience perspective to spot opportunities for improvement.
- Review and interpret both qualitative and quantitative research data to uncover patterns and actionable insights.
- Share research outcomes clearly through verbal updates and written presentations so that designers, product teams, and other stakeholders can use the findings effectively.
- Work closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners to ensure research informs design and development choices.
- Advocate for user-centered design and help ensure the final experience is intuitive, accessible, and seamless for users.
Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate should bring around 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative research, including interviewing users, running surveys, conducting usability testing, and analyzing data. Background in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Wealth Management is strongly preferred. You should also have a solid grasp of user-centered design principles, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate research findings clearly to varied audiences.
