Treasury and Cash Collection Intern

About the Role

Equativ seeks a driven and enthusiastic intern to join its Cash Collection and Treasury team. This internship primarily involves cash collection duties, which will constitute approximately 90% of the responsibilities, while cash management activities will form about 10% and be gradually introduced as the intern gains familiarity with the company's operations, clients, and industry landscape.

This position offers practical experience in a fast-moving ad tech environment, working closely with clients, Sales, and Finance departments to follow up on payments, reconcile accounts, and contribute to process enhancements including AI and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer invoices
• Engage with clients, sales, and internal teams via email and phone communications
• Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and disputes
• Generate aging reports and conduct analysis of overdue accounts
• Reconcile aged accounts and pinpoint inconsistencies
• Maintain precise records of collection activities
• Provide escalation support when necessary
• Participate in initiatives to improve processes and implement AI-driven automation
• Gradually take on cash management tasks such as supporting cash reporting, aiding bank reconciliations, assisting cash allocation, and contributing to treasury projects

• Proficient communication skills in both French and English
