Trainee Officer – Warehouse

Job Overview

This position involves adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) at the warehouse to ensure smooth and compliant operations of inventory and material management. The role requires maintaining proper documentation, cleanliness, and compliance with standard operating procedures to support production and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update cGMP records following established SOPs and ensure compliance with cGMP norms within warehouse operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of warehouse spaces, including critical zones (CNC and Grade D) and related equipment as prescribed.
• Dispense raw materials, solvents, and acids accurately aligned with production requirements, process orders, and reservations.
• Operate specialized equipment such as reverse laminar air flow units, weighing scales, cold rooms, freezers, and dynamic pass boxes.
• Execute SAP transactions and utilize the WiND system during the dispensing process.
• Maintain excellent documentation practices as required by SOPs and input necessary information daily through electronic log entries.
• Transfer dispensed materials responsibly, adhering to specific storage conditions and ensuring timely delivery to users or production teams.
• Conduct calibration and verification of weighing balances within the warehouse to maintain accuracy.
• Perform scheduled physical stock verifications and promptly report discrepancies to supervisors and department heads.
• Ensure proper segregation and storage of materials classified by storage type and required conditions.
• Facilitate stock reconciliation processes when necessary.
• Keep dispensing tools and accessories clean, labeled clearly, and organized systematically.
• Manage cold chain packaging effectively and maintain cold chain boxes and cooling packs in line with SOPs.
• Complete required training sessions punctually, with ongoing updates on SOPs and EOPs.
• Follow stringent personal hygiene and gowning procedures to maintain safety and compliance.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams as needed to execute routine warehouse activities.
• Report any deviations or irregularities immediately to supervisors and department authorities during operational processes.
• Handle mobile compactor racks including their cleaning and pallet maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to EHS management systems, guidelines, legal compliances and onsite policies.

Experience & Education

Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Educational qualification required is a postgraduate degree in Science or Chemistry.
