Role overview

Join the Quant Trading group, where the focus is on building and managing trading and risk solutions for a range of crypto instruments, including spot and derivatives. The team creates and rolls out trading strategies in a highly dynamic, complex environment.

What you'll do

Design, build, and enhance end-to-end trading platform and data platform components.
Partner with traders, operations staff, and developers to improve current models and create new analytics, algorithms, and strategies.
Take part in code reviews, testing, and release activities.
Develop systems that can be deployed quickly, with automated tests, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines.
Track down issues in backend infrastructure and platform layers and put effective fixes in place.
Investigate and resolve problems that span multiple technical layers.
Work with different teams to automate and simplify trading, reconciliation, and analytics processes.

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of professional Java programming experience.
Exposure to trading application development in an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange is preferred, especially for Equity, FX, or derivative products in traditional or crypto markets.
Comfort with TDD principles and hands-on experience with automated testing.
A strong drive to improve systems, close attention to detail, and a sense of ownership for assigned work.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to take on new challenges and learn quickly.
Ability to stay effective under pressure and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Good understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
Knowledge of finance or trading is an added advantage.
