TM PCB and Scrap Sourcing North

Job purpose

This position supports the sourcing lead in carrying out procurement plans for e-waste scrap across western India. The role focuses on supplier development, contract support, compliance monitoring, and reporting. It also contributes to strengthening the supply chain and adopting procurement tools. The incumbent will help meet assigned raw material sourcing targets and will need to travel to meet OEMs, scrap suppliers, and recyclers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain productive relationships with suppliers from both formal and informal channels.
• Identify potential suppliers, assess them, and bring them on board as per sourcing needs.
• Make sure supplier records are completed on time, verified, and activated without delay.
• Serve as the main contact for suppliers to address issues and support better engagement.
• Check that suppliers comply with tax rules, legal obligations, and e-waste regulations.
• Review supplier compliance regularly and highlight any risks early.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections related to supplier governance.
• Help improve supplier management systems and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in tightening internal controls to reduce operational and compliance exposure.
• Work with Finance, Legal, and Operations to simplify and improve workflows.
• Spot process gaps and suggest improvements for better efficiency and scalability.
• Track market movements, pricing trends, and sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor supplier availability, pricing pressures, and new informal supply sources.
• Share market inputs with internal teams to aid sourcing strategy and negotiation.
• Help identify alternate suppliers to reduce dependency risk.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to keep sourcing and compliance objectives aligned.
• Prepare and update reports on supplier performance, compliance, and onboarding.
• Provide leadership with data-driven inputs for better decision-making.
• Encourage use of digital tools and systems to improve productivity, collaboration, data quality, and process efficiency while reducing manual work.

Requirements

• Ability to work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and leadership across multiple functions.
• Comfort with travel and field interaction with OEMs, scrap vendors, and recyclers.
• Strong awareness of compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal control practices.
• Capability to manage data, reports, and documentation with accuracy.
• Interest in using technology and digital systems to improve sourcing operations.
