Role Overview
The TikTok Commerce Strategy Lead is entrusted with crafting the long-term vision and strategic blueprint to accelerate growth of the TikTok Shop platform. The role centers on developing scalable strategies encompassing content commerce, partnerships with creators, live selling, marketing campaigns, and marketplace expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the overall growth strategy and long-range business plan for TikTok Shop.
- Discover new avenues to enhance revenue generation, build brand recognition, and drive customer acquisition.
- Formulate strategic initiatives across creators, affiliates, live commerce, and paid marketing efforts.
- Perform market and competitive analysis, keeping abreast of TikTok platform developments.
- Set performance targets, key performance indicators, and establish frameworks for measurement.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to implement growth-focused projects.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in digital commerce, social commerce, marketplace strategy, or growth marketing domains.
- Comprehensive knowledge of TikTok’s ecosystem, consumer behaviors, and social shopping trends.
- Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies that produce measurable business impacts.
- Strong analytical aptitude coupled with strategic thinking capable of converting data into practical solutions.
- Experience in managing partnerships with creators, agencies, affiliates, or external service providers.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce metrics, including GMV, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, ROI, and customer lifetime value.
- Capable of influencing and driving cross-functional teams and initiatives without direct authority.
- Excellent skills in presentation, communication, and executive-level reporting.
