Job Overview

This temporary nanny role is based on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, caring for a 7-month-old infant. The position starts on January 7th, 2026, and runs through April 17th, 2026. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Candidate Attributes

Extensive experience working with infants
Knowledgeable about infant milestone support such as bottle feeding, introducing solids, and managing naps
Patient, nurturing, and engaging personality
Adaptable and easy to collaborate with

Key Responsibilities

Providing age-appropriate developmental activities such as reading, tummy time, and both motor and cognitive play
Taking the child for walks near Riverside or Central Park
Maintaining feeding and nap routines
Helping with laundering the child’s clothing
Ensuring the baby’s spaces and living areas are clean, tidy, and organized

Requirements

Minimum five years of professional nanny experience
At least three years specifically caring for infants
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Provision of 2-3 relevant references
Comfortable with pets; household has a small, friendly dog
Residency near the Upper West Side
Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
Current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to renew them

Compensation and Additional Information
