About the Role

IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Teller for its Retail Banking team at the Ratlam branch in Madhya Pradesh. This is a full-time branch-based role centered on delivering strong customer service and managing daily banking transactions. The position serves as the first touchpoint for customers and supports smooth branch operations while helping present the bank’s products and services.

Primary Responsibilities

Welcome customers and provide assistance in a polite, professional manner.
Carry out banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments with speed and accuracy.
Handle, reconcile, and maintain cash drawers while keeping transaction records correct and up to date.
Introduce customers to suitable bank products and services through cross-selling.
Respond to customer questions and resolve complaints in a timely, effective way.
Follow all bank rules, operating procedures, and security requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities

Work with branch colleagues to help achieve branch targets and service expectations.
Maintain strong accuracy and careful attention to detail in everyday tasks.
Provide support for branch activity during busy periods.

Education

Applicants should hold a graduate degree in any discipline.

Experience

Candidates with 0 to 4 years of experience in customer service or cash handling are preferred. Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
