Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on repairable components, ensuring they meet the relevant documents and repair standards.
- Ensure all parts undergo repairs that align with prescribed industry standards and procedures.
- Interpret and apply current specifications related to inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures provided by the product manufacturer.
- Carry out inspections based on regulatory-approved technical data.
- Execute SAP transactions, making necessary adjustments to work orders within the SAP system.
- Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) training programs and personally uphold safety regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) programs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Engineering or related fields.
- At least 2 years experience with various inspection tools and visual inspection techniques, or a strong enthusiasm to begin a career in aerospace if inexperienced.
- Capability to comprehend basic technical instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and SAP software.
- Highly detail-oriented with a practical and hands-on approach.
- Self-driven, independent worker with a positive mindset towards adapting to change.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
- Willingness to work night shifts and overtime when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering sectors.
- Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and requirements from relevant regulatory bodies.
