Baanyan Software Services Inc is hiring a Technical Recruiter skilled in US IT staffing, focusing on placing international students under OPT/CPT programs in IT and functional roles across the United States. This role is based in Kolkata and requires working the night shift.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit OPT candidates through various platforms like job boards, social media, referrals, and networking channels.
• Develop and sustain a robust pool of qualified candidates for present and future vacancies.
• Review resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess qualifications, technical expertise, communication skills, and visa eligibility.
• Inform candidates about job openings, recruitment procedures, and placement steps.
• Collaborate with account managers, business development personnel, and vendors to locate fitting job opportunities.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates during the recruitment and placement phases.
• Document and monitor candidate progress including submissions, interviews, offers, and hires using ATS/CRM systems.
• Ensure precise and current candidate records and documentation.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment and placement targets.
• Keep abreast of relevant US immigration categories affecting recruitment such as OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, H-1B, and EADs.

Qualifications and Expertise Required

• Experience recruiting OPT EAD candidates within US IT staffing is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of US visa processes including OPT, CPT, H1B, and other work permit categories.
• Familiar with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and Dice.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to operate autonomously and manage time efficiently during night shifts.
• Capable of performing under pressure and meeting rigorous hiring deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background in Human Resources, Staffing, or related disciplines.

Work Conditions and Additional Information

• Work Hours: Night shift from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.
• Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India (Onsite).
