Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage Amazon Connect platforms, encompassing contact flows, routing profiles, queue management, and omnichannel communications.
  • Deploy and support Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions across voice, chat, and messaging mediums.
  • Create serverless applications and integrations applying AWS Lambda (using Python), API Gateway, and event-driven design patterns.
  • Architect and implement integrations among Amazon Connect, Salesforce, and Service Cloud Voice platforms.
  • Construct and maintain Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform and automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead solution design, architectural frameworks, documentation efforts, and platform engineering processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges spanning Amazon Connect, AWS services, Salesforce, and integrated contact center solutions.
  • Implement generative AI technologies including Amazon Q, prompt engineering techniques, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and establish AI governance controls.
  • Maintain security, scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence across all deployment environments.
  • Offer technical leadership with mentorship for engineers and oversee full delivery lifecycle from development to production and business-as-usual transitions.

Required Expertise

  • Proficient in Amazon Connect administration and engineering processes.
  • Experienced with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless/event-driven architectures.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
