About NTU International A/S
NTU International A/S is a prominent consulting firm offering project management and technical advisory services globally. The company collaborates extensively with EU institutions, international financial organizations, development agencies, and public sector clients specialising in energy, climate, infrastructure, economic development, and sustainable investment.
To support the upcoming EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project, NTU International is expanding its pool of qualified Non-Key Experts available for short-term, on-demand engagement during project rollout.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Offer specialized technical knowledge on electric transmission and distribution infrastructure.
- Assist with integrating renewable energy sources and advancing grid modernization efforts.
- Evaluate grid capacity, flexibility, stability, and interconnection demands.
- Provide expert guidance on battery and various energy storage technologies.
- Contribute to technical evaluations and feasibility analyses for renewable and clean tech projects.
- Advise on both the technical and commercial dimensions of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Support drafting of technical standards, grid codes, and connection regulations.
- Perform technical due diligence and facilitate project preparation and execution.
- Provide insights to develop clean energy strategies, roadmaps, and funding programs.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess an academic degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, renewable energy, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate strong professional background in electricity grids, power systems, renewable energy, energy storage, or PPAs.
- Experience in designing, assessing, or executing clean energy infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with grid integration methods, storage solutions, power system planning, and technical standards within the electricity sector.
- Experience working in the MENA region is highly desirable.
- Exposure to EU-funded or international financial institution (IFI)-supported energy projects is an advantage.
Language Proficiencies
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of French or Arabic is considered a significant plus.
