Technical Delivery Lead

This opportunity is with one of Australia's leading enterprise organisations, spearheading large-scale digital transformation initiatives impacting millions of customers. The organisation is heavily investing in the modernization of its digital product environment and seeks an experienced Delivery Lead to drive the successful delivery and continuous evolution of significant customer-facing products.

As part of a high-performing technology division, this role goes beyond traditional project management, involving collaboration with Technology and Business leaders to influence product strategy, investment decisions, and long-term success.

This position involves full lifecycle ownership of products, ranging from initial business case development and investment planning to delivery oversight, vendor coordination, and post-launch optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic digital products throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technology teams, and Business stakeholders to establish roadmaps and set priorities.
• Develop business cases and assist with investment planning and budgeting processes.
• Manage delivery execution, progress reporting, and PMO tasks.
• Coordinate engineering teams both onshore and offshore alongside delivery partners.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure delivery quality and achieve commercial objectives.
• Oversee successful transition of products into Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, monitoring product success beyond initial delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering complex, enterprise-level digital products across their full lifecycle.
• Previous roles in Product Ownership or Product Management are highly valued.
• Strong skills in business case development, budgeting, and investment management.
• Excellent ability to manage and engage with senior Technology and Business stakeholders.
• Experience in managing vendors and offshore delivery partners.
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.

Compensation and Contract Details

• Daily rate of $1050 to $1100 inclusive of superannuation plus GST.
• 6-month rolling contract with a high possibility of extension or conversion to permanent employment.
• Engagement in highly visible, enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
• Hybrid work model requiring presence in the Sydney office 3 days per week.
