Technical And Machine Operator

About the Role

Nestlé CWAR is launching an all-female production line at the Tema factory and seeks Technical and Machine Operators to ensure continuous, high-quality production while strictly adhering to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all operational activities according to Quality Management Standards (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions, maintaining personal and team safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area, complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP through regular housekeeping routines including shift, daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Adhere to First In First Out (FIFO) material usage rules, ensuring materials are used following the standard recipe within target limits.
• Oversee equipment start-up, running, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, centering, changeover, maintenance, and shutdown; monitor operational parameters accurately, ensuring proper documentation for traceability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Preferred educational backgrounds include Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical or Electrical Technical Operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in production, preferably within the food industry, with solid understanding of production line operations.

Skills and Attributes

• Proficient communication skills in English, including reading and writing.
• Competent in operating and managing machines, instruments, and devices.
• Analytical thinking capabilities.
• Computer literacy at an intermediate level.
