Tech Support Executive

Overview

Eff N Bee Marketing Private Limited in Kolkata is seeking an IT Technician to provide technical assistance across our office, QSR outlets, and FMCG operations. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, resolving technical issues, and supporting network devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
• Troubleshoot problems relating to hardware, software, Windows OS, and networking.
• Oversee LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and other networking equipment functionality.
• Provide technical support tailored to office environments, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) outlets, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) operations.
• Manage IT-related challenges in QSR outlets, including POS systems, billing machines, CCTV cameras, internet, and connectivity.
• Support basic IT needs and network troubleshooting for FMCG devices.
• Install and update essential software, including antivirus programs and operating systems.
• Work alongside external vendors to facilitate repairs, installations, and technical support services.

Requirements

• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in IT or technical support roles is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with computer hardware components, Windows operating systems, and networking principles.
• Prior exposure to IT support in QSR or FMCG sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues coupled with effective communication.
• Preference for male candidates who are able to commute to the Garia location in Kolkata.
