Role Description

  • Adhere to electrical safety protocols, conduct audits, risk assessments, and uphold systems such as earthing, lightning protection, LOTO, and permit-to-work processes.
  • Support utility systems including HVAC, water purification, and compressed air systems ensuring uninterrupted electric supply for critical GMP utilities.
  • Monitor energy usage and lead initiatives for power factor correction, LED replacements, demand control, and related cost-saving projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive electrical documentation and logs ensuring data integrity and prepare SOPs, checklists, and work instructions compliant with industry standards.
  • Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, validation support, and continuous improvement projects like Kaizen, TPM, and Jishu Hozen.
  • Coordinate with production, QA, vendors, and contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and effective maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, API, or OSD manufacturing environments, preferably within highly regulated industries.
