Role Overview
The Team Leader Stakeholder Relations is responsible for designing and executing external communication and educational initiatives aligned with WorkSafe's objectives. This role requires establishing ongoing engagement with work health and safety as well as dangerous goods committees, sub-committees, and working groups. Building and nurturing productive partnerships with stakeholders across industry, government, and regulators is crucial for effective communication and education delivery. Providing expert advice to both internal and external parties is also a key function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage external communication and educational programs to support WorkSafe goals.
- Initiate and sustain dialogue with relevant committees and working groups related to work health and safety and dangerous goods.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders in various sectors including industry, government, and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver high-level counsel to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
