For over 125 years, T&G Fresh has been dedicated to providing fresh fruit and vegetables to New Zealanders. We manage everything from growing, packing, marketing, selling, distributing, importing to exporting fresh produce sourced both from our own orchards and farms as well as from more than 700 local Kiwi growers. Job Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Team Leader to become a key part of our Mt Wellington team. This role mainly involves guiding and coaching your team daily while ensuring smooth site operations during your shift and handover periods. You will identify opportunities to optimize costs and lead initiatives that enhance processes, reduce expenses, and generate measurable improvements.
Work Schedule
The position works Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with additional hours and Sundays required at times, so flexibility is crucial.
Candidate Profile
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in delegating tasks and mentoring team members to inspire and motivate.
- Proven ability in team management with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- A drive for continuous improvement and spearheading initiatives that improve operational efficiency.
- Experience with SAP systems is highly preferable; otherwise, a quick aptitude to learn new systems is essential.
- Possession of a current forklift certificate with F endorsement is strongly preferred.
- Dependable team player willing to assist wherever required.
- Prior experience working within stores, warehouse, or logistics settings.
