Team Leader - 2nd Shift

About the Role

Join Stratosphere Quality as a Quality Team Leader responsible for guiding and managing inspection teams to uphold quality standards across projects. Based in Greencastle, IN, this role involves hands-on leadership, training, and communication with various stakeholders including customers, with travel to manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee quality inspection teams to meet project goals.
• Organize project setups and align team expectations accordingly.
• Provide training to inspectors on specific work instructions and procedures.
• Conduct thorough inspections of parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication channels with customers and job site contacts.
• Enforce adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and gauges are properly verified for use.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation and project reports.
• Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of regular supervisory staff.
• Travel to various manufacturing plants and warehouse locations as required.

Qualifications

• Preferably have prior leadership or team supervisory experience.
• Exhibit strong communication capabilities to interact effectively with teams and clients.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic working environments.
• Maintain a positive attitude and self-driven motivation.
• Possess a keen attention to detail in quality inspection tasks.
• Willingness and ability to travel as part of job duties.
