About the Role
Amazon, aiming to be the world's most customer-centric company, is looking for capable and motivated individuals to join their transportation team. The company handles millions of deliveries annually and is now hiring Team Leads to oversee operations at the Delivery Center in Kanpur.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily shift activities at the delivery center to ensure smooth transportation and delivery operations.
- Support the Delivery Center Manager in driving performance management and implementing operational plans.
- Control and monitor the delivery process, ensuring products move efficiently from the delivery station to customers' addresses.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels in the delivery team to handle peak delivery times effectively.
- Implement continuous process improvements to achieve sustained enhancements in delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in English communication, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge and experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
