Taxi Driver

Overview

This position invites candidates to take the role of Taxi Driver in Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada, stationed at 140 Industrial Rd. The role involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Transport passengers to their requested locations securely and punctually.
• Assist passengers with luggage handling and boarding the vehicle.
• Ensure timely vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Manage fare collection and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Support clients or guests with special needs to ensure comfort and safety.
• Handle passenger complaints or difficult situations professionally and calmly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of secondary (high) school education.
• Work experience ranging from 1 month up to less than 7 months in a related driving capacity.
• Must possess a Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle License (Class 4 or E).
