Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar focuses on handling take-out service smoothly from order receipt to handover. The Take Out Waiter will verify customer orders, package food and drinks correctly, present them neatly, and coordinate delivery to guests or delivery personnel. The role also involves welcoming customers, sharing menu details clearly, processing payments, keeping the take-out station tidy, and assisting kitchen operations to maintain fast, courteous service.

Key Duties

• Receive take-out requests and confirm order details for accuracy.
• Pack food and beverages carefully and ensure presentable delivery.
• Hand over orders to guests or delivery partners in an organized manner.
• Welcome customers and explain menu items when needed.
• Manage cash and electronic payment transactions accurately.
• Keep the take-out counter and surrounding area clean and well arranged.
• Work in coordination with kitchen staff to track preparation progress and timing.
• Follow up on minor customer issues and help maintain a positive service experience.
• Support day-to-day food service operations to keep service efficient and friendly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to create a pleasant, efficient guest experience.
• Exposure to food and beverage or restaurant service operations, especially take-out handling.
• Good verbal communication for dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Basic food handling or kitchen coordination knowledge is helpful.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and managing several orders in a busy setting.
• Prior experience in hospitality, restaurants, or other guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Sound numeracy skills for handling payments and ensuring order accuracy.
• English fluency is required; other languages are an added advantage.
