Air Apps is a family-started company focused on building an AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP). The organization is driven by long-term thinking and aims to develop AI-led tools that improve how people plan, work, and live.
Role overview
As a Systems Administrator, you will own the day-to-day management of internal IT systems, user access, and SaaS platforms. The role centers on keeping the company’s technology environment secure, reliable, and efficient, while supporting employees across the business with access, devices, and technical help.
This position is fully on-site in Lisbon. You will work closely with colleagues from different functions in a fast-moving environment, and relocation support is available.
Responsibilities
- Administer the company’s IT environment, covering SaaS applications, cloud services, and internal platforms.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, onboarding access, and identity systems across tools such as Google Workspace, Okta, and Azure AD.
- Put in place and maintain controls for network protection, endpoint security, and encryption of data.
- Track hardware and software health, investigate issues, and resolve performance or connectivity problems.
- Apply security standards such as multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.
- Support and maintain workplace tools including Slack, Zoom, Notion, and Atlassian products.
- Set up employee accounts during hiring and remove access during offboarding.
- Streamline IT workflows, monitoring, and routine tasks through automation.
- Keep software licensing, compliance records, and IT documentation current.
- Offer hands-on support and guidance so employees can use company systems effectively.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or IT support.
- Background in managing cloud-based business IT environments such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, or Azure.
- Practical experience with identity and access management tools like Okta, Azure AD, or JumpCloud.
- Working knowledge of endpoint management platforms such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or similar MDM tools.
- Understanding of network security, VPNs, firewalls, and zero-trust architecture.
- Exposure to scripting or automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python is an advantage.
- Ability to diagnose and fix issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity efficiently.
- Strong awareness of IT compliance, data privacy rules such as GDPR and SOC 2, and standard security practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in a fast-paced, remote-first setup.
