Position Overview
Morgan McKinley invites applications for a Supply Chain Specialist role within a prominent healthcare company based in Dublin. This contract position offers an onsite work setting with a hybrid model, providing an opportunity to be part of a global organization that values teamwork, innovation, and continual process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central liaison for a select group of external suppliers, overseeing forecasts, purchase orders, inventory, and deliveries.
- Analyze and process incoming customer forecasts and orders, converting demand data into effective supply plans with proactive inventory management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, planning, quality, manufacturing, and distribution units to assure precise demand forecasting, adherence to schedules, and timely product availability.
- Monitor inventory metrics, predict potential supply-related risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on supply chain metrics to inform and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance of all supply chain processes with regulatory standards, quality controls, and internal company policies.
- Engage in supplier performance evaluations focused on delivery, quality, and service, advocating ongoing improvement measures.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in comprehensive supply chain, planning, or order management functions, preferably within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Practical experience managing external manufacturers, including contract manufacturing and third-party vendor coordination.
- Deep knowledge of forecasting techniques, demand planning, inventory control, and supply planning methodologies.
- Proficiency with SAP software is mandatory.
