Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

This part-time remote Supply Chain Manager position is responsible for overseeing the full scope of supply chain activities that support architectural projects at Studio Mango. The individual will manage demand forecasting, monitor inventory, and coordinate procurement with both vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage demand forecasts to accurately predict material requirements.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and reduce waste.
• Coordinate procurement processes, negotiating and managing vendor relationships effectively.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Ensure the timely availability of resources to meet project timelines.
• Implement industry best practices and maintain detailed records of supply chain activities.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to align supply chain efforts with architectural design and construction schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong skills in demand planning and data analysis to forecast needs and interpret supply chain metrics.
• Expertise in supply management and procurement including vendor negotiation and relationship management.
• Proficiency in inventory management to track materials and maintain efficient stock levels.
• Relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, ideally within architecture, design, or construction fields.
• Familiarity with supply chain software, inventory systems, spreadsheets, and analytical tools.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, with capability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
