Role Overview

Based at our Sevenum office and warehouse near Venlo, you will serve as the central figure overseeing intelligent, efficient, and customer-centric demand and supply planning across multiple warehouses and sales channels. Your responsibility is ensuring our products are available at the right place and time.

You will lead a team managing forecasting, planning, inventory control, and supplier relations, balancing optimal stock levels, reducing out-of-stock incidents, and maintaining proper stock turnover. Applying a strategic, data-informed mindset, you will identify new opportunities and foster continuous improvement.

Leading an organization comprising 5 direct and about 35 indirect team members, you will promote scalable, efficient, and compliant operations across several countries. You possess the ability to inspire teams, build cooperation, and enhance performance.

Your effectiveness will be demonstrated by high accuracy in forecasting, excellent service levels, healthy inventory status, and ongoing advancement in planning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full demand and supply planning cycle to achieve precise forecasts, maintain optimal inventory, and ensure robust product availability in all locations.
• Enhance inventory performance by mitigating out-of-stock risks, encouraging effective stock rotation, and controlling forced purchases.
• Implement and refine data-driven forecasting and planning systems to improve accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall outcomes.
• Manage supplier partnerships to ensure continuous supply, reduce risks, and deepen collaborative operations.
• Lead and develop a team of 5 direct and 35 indirect reports, fostering skill growth and high achievement.
• Serve as a critical liaison across departments, harmonizing demand, supply, and operational goals. Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Category Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics, and Pharma Operations for unified demand planning, supply assurance, and warehouse capacity management. Engage with senior leadership within Operations and Supply Chain to align on strategies, targets, and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Possession of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or inventory oversight.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data related to planning, inventory, and supply to inform decision-making.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and facilitating cross-functional collaboration within supply chains.
• Successful track record handling planning operations spanning multiple warehouses or countries.
• Experience working in an e-commerce setting.
• Commitment to work on-site in Sevenum office at least three days weekly.
