Supply Chain Coordinator - Level III

Role Overview

The Level III Supply Chain Coordinator is tasked with overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing the complete supply chain cycle by balancing demand, supply, and inventory effectively. Operating with little supervision, this position leverages statistical methods, planning software, and partnerships across teams to develop accurate forecasts and manage inventory efficiently. The role ensures sustained supply chain stability, supports operational excellence, and fulfills customer needs through meticulous planning and ongoing process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, manage, and implement demand, supply, and inventory plans that meet customer needs while supporting company goals.
• Conduct thorough analysis of demand and supply patterns to identify risks or constraints, proposing timely corrective measures.
• Perform both short- and long-term supply and demand evaluations, uncovering potential risks or opportunities.
• Oversee inventory performance, adjusting planning parameters like min/max inventory levels, reorder points, and safety stocks to optimize resources.
• Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodologies to enhance material flow and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Run simulations on planning parameters to assess impact on KPIs, offering data-driven recommendations.
• Monitor and analyze system alerts and demand anomalies, conducting root cause investigations and deploying approved corrections.
• Update and maintain accepted forecast revisions to ensure planning alignment.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, production, logistics, suppliers, and customer service to execute supply plans effectively.
• Establish and nurture good relationships with external suppliers to secure consistent material availability.
• Utilize ERP and material planning tools for data-driven decisions, reporting, and continuous improvements.
• Generate and communicate supply chain performance reports and improvement insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement projects targeting quality, safety, material handling, inventory management, and operational excellence.
• Adhere strictly to company Health, Safety & Environmental standards, quality certifications, and regulatory compliance.
• Complete required training sessions and contribute to the development of team capabilities while supporting operational priorities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 to 5 years experience in roles like supply planning, material or inventory planning, production scheduling; 5 to 7 years preferred for higher-level planning tasks.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and cross-functional teams globally.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain concepts including demand/supply planning, inventory control, and materials management.
• Proficient in ERP and material planning platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and SQL for analytics and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting methods, and inventory optimization techniques.
• Knowledgeable in PFEP principles, planning parameters, and managing supply chain KPIs.
• Capable of analyzing planning data, identifying root causes, and suggesting corrective measures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for cross-functional global teams.
• Ability to work independently managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Work Schedule and Benefits

• Night shift hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST
• Includes night shift allowance and company-provided pickup and drop services within PMC and PCMC areas

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent experience required
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related disciplines
