Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role

Stepan Oilfield Solutions is seeking a well-organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of materials and products within the organization. This role involves managing timely sourcing, transportation, and delivery of goods with a focus on cost-effectiveness and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee both domestic and international shipments to guarantee punctual and economical delivery.
• Handle import and export operations, including customs paperwork and adherence to legal standards.
• Assist in production scheduling by maintaining material availability aligned with customer demands.
• Create and manage purchase orders while communicating with suppliers to meet supply needs.
• Keep track of inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure stock accuracy.
• Monitor supply chain metrics to identify opportunities for improving processes and reducing costs.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, freight carriers, customs agents, and internal teams.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience

• Previous exposure to supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or production planning roles.
• Understanding of import/export protocols and customs procedures.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building effective professional relationships.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving proficiency.
• Competency in SAP software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven work environment.

Qualifications

A degree in supply chain management or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
