Supply Chain Analyst

Overview

BCforward is looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Analyst to be based onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. This contract role is set to begin as soon as possible with an initial duration of six months, which may be extended based on business requirements. The hourly pay ranges from $50 to $55, varying according to location, expertise, and job duties. This role is pivotal in managing global asset distribution and enhancing supply chain efficiency through advanced planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Verify inbound freight data to confirm receipt of supplies at distribution centers accurately.
• Manage weekly purchase order releases and promptly address any related issues.
• Adjust daily allocations of total supply across demand channels based on inbound freight and supply forecasting.
• Ensure timely entry of allocation and factory commitment data into Oracle Fusion as per schedule.
• Build and sustain collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams including Supply Planners, Freight, Procurement, and Customer Experience departments.
• Document processes and contribute to streamlining existing workflows.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree coupled with relevant experience in supply chain or inventory operations.
• Proficient in analyzing inventory and freight data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage multiple cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in ERP platforms, ideally Oracle Fusion, and familiar with MS Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
• Experience with supply planning and planning systems is essential.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with specialized planning tools such as E2Open is advantageous.
• Background with large technology companies is a plus.
