Job Overview
Engenharia Explicada is seeking a meticulous and data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to strengthen our team in Munich, Germany. This full-time position involves analyzing supply chain data to optimize inventory, logistics, and procurement activities, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments to ensure seamless material and product flows.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret supply chain metrics to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and development areas.
- Oversee inventory levels and contribute to demand forecasting and inventory management plans.
- Provide analytical support for procurement, logistics, and warehouse functions.
- Monitor critical performance indicators and compile regular reports on operations.
- Discover opportunities for cost reduction without sacrificing quality or service standards.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and coordinating delivery timelines.
- Partner with various internal teams to streamline supply chain workflows and boost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate data within supply chain databases and systems.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and optimization projects.
- Generate documentation, operational analyses, and presentations for leadership review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or an analogous discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations analytics is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
- Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning methods, and supply chain procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time prioritization skills.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are favorable but not required.
