Program Overview
Casual Fridays invites current college students to apply for our Fall 2026 Student Creator Program, a flexible contracted role ideal for those passionate about content creation, social media, and the hospitality industry. This program provides hands-on experience capturing and creating content for hotels, resorts, restaurants, attractions, and travel destinations around select U.S. markets including Boston, Key West, Florida's west coast areas, Atlanta, New York City, and the DMV region.

We are a hospitality marketing agency specializing in social media, content production, paid advertising, and digital marketing serving hotels, resorts, and travel businesses nationwide.
Role Details
As an independent 1099 contractor, Student Creators accept assignments on a project basis, working independently with flexible schedules to fit academic priorities. Participants utilize their own photography and videography gear to deliver engaging short-form social media content consistent with client brand identities. Collaborative communication with our team occurs remotely.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photos and videos using an iPhone to highlight hospitality clients.
- Create compelling short videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Adhere to shot lists, creative briefs, and content guidelines from Casual Fridays.
- Visit designated properties and local venues within your regional market for content gathering.
- Coordinate onsite with property personnel, clients, and agency team members.
- Represent Casual Fridays with professionalism during all content visits and events.
- Identify and capture authentic guest experiences and storytelling moments.
- Attend and document community events, festivals, and activations as requested.
- Edit and organize photo and video assets and deliver them promptly to the agency.
- Participate in occasional virtual meetings and maintain proactive communication about project status and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- Passion for photography, videography, and social media content development.
- Proficiency in creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Reliable personal transportation within assigned market areas.
- Flexibility to attend content shoots during weekdays, evenings, or weekends as required.
- Preferred: experience or familiarity with hospitality, travel, or tourism industries and a content portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Compensation and Work Terms
- Position is part-time and project-based as an independent contractor.
- Payment is made per completed content shoot or project.
- Flexible schedule working around academic commitments.
- Opportunity for ongoing assignments during the academic year.
- Pre-approved project-related expenses may be reimbursed as applicable.
