Job description

About the Role

Based at the Guildford Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) in Western Australia, this full-time Storeperson position involves assembling, cutting, and quality inspecting hydraulic hoses designed for Caterpillar machinery. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the role supports operations within a high-capacity facility that manages 75,000 product lines and ships approximately 300,000 monthly items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut hydraulic hoses to specified lengths
  • Assemble hydraulic hoses by fitting couplings onto cut hose sections
  • Operate and maintain hydraulic presses and crimping devices
  • Apply capping and tagging to hoses in preparation for shipment

Candidate Profile & Skills

  • Demonstrates proficient manual handling abilities
  • Capable of both independent and team-based work with clear communication
  • Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with a constructive and proactive attitude
  • Experience in night shift work is advantageous
  • Previous warehousing experience is preferred

Working Hours & Location

Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 9-hour shift inclusive of breaks. Every fourth Friday is scheduled as a day off. The role is onsite at the Guildford PDC facility.
